Rosa Wilson Hendrick

Rosa Mae Wilson Hendrick was born on April 8, 9151, to the late Sam and Briddie Harden Wilson in Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia. On Friday morning June 6, 2025, Rosa slept away in death at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosa had a deep appreciation for the beauty in life. She adored butterflies and found joy in dancing, singing, painting, drawing and traveling. Rosa's heart belonged to Jehovah and on July 3,1982, she dedicated her life to serving him and remained faithful in the commitment until her passing.

On May 28, 1985 she married the love of her life the late Robert B. Hendrick.

In addition to her parents and her husband she is preceded in death by; sisters, Alice Byrd, Ammie Mikell, Louella Brinson, Mae Helen DeLoach, and Geneva Wilson; and her brothers Johnas Wilson, Harvey Wilson, Walter Wilson, and Willie Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories; two loving sisters, Doretha (Danny) Lee of Statesboro, Georgia and Ida (Carl), Register. two special nieces and great-niece whom were her devoted caregivers: LaSandra Brinson of Augusta, Georgia, Tameka (Antonio) Harris-Lexie, and De’Angelique Roberts. Her adopted daughter in heart: Chiquita Smith of Louisville, Georgia, and Joshlynn Curry-Adelekan of Statesboro, GA; best friend and confidante, Brenda (Paul) Curry, Statesboro; she also leaves behind a host of other loving family members, dear friends and her cherished spiritual family at the Kingdom Hall.

A celebration of Life will he held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 15 East Parrish Street, Statesboro, GA with Brother Eugene White, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 6600 Dekle Road, Register, GA 30452.

A walk though viewing will take place on Friday, June 13th  from 3-6:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. until 12 noon on Saturday morning, June 14th at the funeral home.  There will be no viewing after this time.
