Lillie Pearl Mosley "Suke" Drummer, lovingly known to family and friends as a gentle soul, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at  East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Born on May 24, 1953, in Garfield, Georgia, to the late Jimmy and Deloris Mosley. She was a cherished member of her community and a source of comfort and support for her loved ones.

A proud graduate of Statesboro High School, Lillie dedicated many years of her life to her career at Georgia Southern University's Landrum Center, where she retired after making numerous contributions. Her commitment to her work reflected her gentle nature and strong work ethic.

Lillie was known for her quiet and meek personality, which endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Among her simple joys was an avid fan of wrestling, which she enjoyed watching, much to the delight of those around her.

She leaves behind a loving and devoted son, Bernal Drummer, Jr. (Rachel),  Statesboro, and one brother, Douglas Mosley, Swinsboro, GA. Lillie’s legacy also includes a caring special cousin and caregiver, Joyce Byrd, and a special nephew, Carl Mosley, Jr. (Stacey), both of  Statesboro. Her family continues with two granddaughters, Deyanna Drummer and Daiyonah Jackson; two grandsons, Brandon Drummer and Nathaniel Huff, Jr. (Destiny); and two great-grandsons, Nathaniel Huff, III and James Huff. Along with her immediate family, Lillie is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember her fondly.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, James Mosley, Leeander Mosley, and Carl Mosley, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM.at the Elm Street Church of God, 29 Elm Street, Statesboro, 30458, with Apostle Shane Mosley, eulogist, Minister Tracey Williams, presiding. The Reverend Dr. Alexander Smith is the pastor. Lillie’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. Her kindness and gentle spirit will be missed dearly by all who loved her. Final disposition will be via cremation.
